Fergus – Fitness Fergus

Fergus was born on 14 July 2024 and joined our family in June 2025.

His journey began with a phone call from Barry's foster mum.

She simply said,

"Sherlock thinks Fergus would make the perfect little brother for Barry."

There was only one answer.

Yes! When can he come home?

Fergus also made the journey from Brisbane to Perth and arrived looking quiet, gentle and a little unsure.

That lasted about five minutes.

Once he met Barry, we quickly realised we'd welcomed home a whirlwind of energy.

Where Barry is calm and dignified...

Fergus has one speed.

Go!

Affectionately known as Fitness Fergus, he has no off switch.

He loves zoomies, sniffing adventures and convincing Barry that every nap should immediately become playtime.

His favourite trick?

Sneaking over to gently nibble Barry's bottom to wake him up for another round of what we call Fergus Fitness Bootcamp.

When he finally runs out of energy, Fergus curls himself into the tiniest pretzel imaginable for a cuddle with his humans while he "recharges."

Life with Fergus is loud, funny and wonderfully unpredictable.

We wouldn't change a thing.
